Rockwool Starter Sheets are great for starting seeds or cuttings. They come in a sheet of 98 cubes. The cubes are tapered to allow air movement between them and to allow for air pruning of roots to keep them easy to separate after your seedlings or cuttings take root. They have a small hole punched into them to place your seed or cutting. They fit in a standard 10” x 20”
propagation tray.Rockwool Starter Cubes come in packs of 45. They are 1˝” x 1˝” x 1˝”. They are individually wrapped to retain moisture longer. They have a small hole punched into them to place your seed or cutting. You can fit 72 cubes into a standard propagation tray (6 rows by 12 rows), though you should only put in about 50 to allow for air movement between them (5
rows x 10 rows).Plant Comfort is a premium rockwool. This unique rockwool has a special fiber structure which provides a block with less density for the roots to grow through much easier while still retaining the block’s strength. The unique OptiDrain™ provides better drainage than standard slotted blocks. The OptiDrain™ provides block stability while allowing better oxygenation into the root zone.
